Hi, I'm Yam, I grew up a half-nerd in a small city in the north of Israel called
Acre the younger son of an amazing painter. In middle school, I fell in love with music, audio engineering, guitars & sound design . Started back then to work with “
Impulse Tracker”, it was a music sequencer for DOS platform. since then while learning the amazing world of audio i landed a string of pretty cool jobs as guitar teacher on the local community center, DJ, and flyer designer for low budget local parties. After 5 years of being a true audio junkie (You can listen to some of my music projects during the past years on my
soundcloud page), i went to the military for 3 years. Right after i released from the army service, i went for a life changing trip in India. Driving south to north with my
Royal Enfield Machismo motorcycle, it was an amazing period. After 6 months in india, and few more in Myanmar, i came back to Israel, My love for audio engineering, Cubase, and synthesizers crossed paths with visual effects and my new passion for Motion Design was born.I studied (And still learning) design and animation all by online sources, with great mentors like
Nick Campbell,
Tim Clapham,
Simon Holmedal and much more, combine with a lot of passion to design. In 2011, I Started working as UI designer for
Newtab.it. Tel-Aviv based start-up company that makes very cool extensions for google chrome. So now i work in Tel-Aviv as a freelance motion graphics artist & Designer. where I drink a lot of beer, discover great minds, and doing what i’m good at.;)
